Are Prisoners in this State Americans?

Hey, readers, I'm taking a jab at the direction we're moving in America.

So, there is this movement by one Robert F. Kennedy Jr., referred to as Make America Healthy Again. One of the driving points was to cut back on ultra processed food (or food-like items).

Does this, perhaps, mean that food in prisons will be required to improve and move away from the weird ultra processed pucks of Chicken? of the Sewers Nutria Patties and the other processed meat products? And the canteen has to sell us more edible, less processed food items?

Nah. I don't see any directives being handed out pushing this. Hell, we're hardly getting funding for food as is; who is going to pay for this less processed food?

I got it. We prisoners are. To get the less processed food, we'll pay 50¢ a meal, or better yet...

Introducing Prison Chow+. For $30/month (a 33% savings), prisoners can have three meals per day of food that is less processed and less questionable than the Free Tier offering.
Compare these two dinner trays:
Free Tier: Chicken of the Sewers™ Nutria Patty on Thin Sliced White Bread, Plain Noodles with Instant Mashed Potatoes, Beans, Raw Cabbage.
Paid Tier (includes PC+): Ground Chicken Patty on White or Wheat Bread, Pasta Salad, Sautéed Cabbage, Steamed Spinach.

I hold rights to "Prison Chow+".
I would cringe if this became an actual reality, but astute observers might notice I am already cringing. Here at Blessington, I have seen what this might look like, and it pains me.

Now if only I could cancel my subscription to Prison...
