I'm a Prisoner in Florida's state prison system. Ask me something.
Editors Note
Hi all, as this post is asking for replies, but this blog does not support comments, please ask any questions you may have on the Concertina Wired Bluesky.
Or via the email address on the About Page.
Hey, so I decided I would channel a little bit of the old Reddit "Ask Me Anything" vibe here one night as I read this 104-year-old eBook called The Gland Stealers by Bertram Gayton. I doubt that I will get many (if any) questions, and will likely get some vitriol and vinegar rather than valid curiosity, but I figure I would open up Pandirah's Warpgate and see what questions may arrive through the interstellar jump.
I ask a bit of courtesy, please (ground rules):
- I do not receive the questions directly, but instead through a very good friend of mine. Please treat them with respect, with metta (lovingkindness) when you ask questions: they are not me.
- Understand that those questions are then asked to me through a moderated system. Some words are barred: As example, I cannot talk about the network created in the movie The Social Network by name; neither can you.
- My case and crime are not up for discussion at this time: I'm actively pursuing my case in Florida's legal system, and thus cannot discuss it openly. Perhaps someday, once it's a finalized situation, but for now, no.
- My name is my name. :)
My responses will be as a grouped response here on ConcertinaWired.com, where I get a bit more breathing room to respond than in a tweet-toot-beepstorm.
Preemptively:
- Can we contribute to Jayel's needs? I hear prison's expensive...
Oh, absolutely! Wait 'til you see the new canteen list, and know that it's going to change again as soon as the price hike cooldowns happen! My editor here should be able to map out details for that.
- Is there a movie or two that you'd like to see?
Yes. Zootopia 2. :') It's $8.55 to rent on our tablets, but I generally prioritize food and hygiene items over movie rentals. Also, Bad Guys and Bad Guys 2. I saw bits of the first movie on TV here, but we have idiot channel surfers who just have to check other channels when a commercial is on, then conveniently forget to go back for several minutes... and "COUNT TIME!" to contend with.
Let's see what this gets me!
